Saturday was another cup game for the lads. The game was played in very windy conditions, and this made it hard to get the ball down and play. We were 1 behind early on but a great ball by Darragh Sullivan put Fionn in who played an excellent cross to Zayd who finished well. We were behind again before the end of the first half and went in at half time 2-1. 

The boys started the second half better and the captain for the day Finn finished very well with his left foot. The game was very tight, and Charlie made a great save to keep it at 2-2. Zayd was very unlucky not to make it 3-2 just before the end which led us to extra time. 

We were behind again in the first half of extra time, but the lads didn’t let their heads drop. We had lots of corners in the second half of extra time, but Mallow defended well and the game finished 3-2.
