Report:
Carrig started well and neat crisp passing saw 3 shots in the first 10 mins, Sean Barry, Pòl and Sean Guiney all went close.
On 12 mins we won a corner that was whipped in by Sean G and headed home by Cillian McCann. 2 mins later and a super save by the impressive Konrad kept them out. Sean G was causing them major problems all afternoon and took a bullet of a free kick from near the corner flag that the keeper could only parry and Pòl was there to put us 2 up at the break.

Big chance at the start of the 2nd half for Kinsale but Hugh cleared off the line and Matti Hodnett with an excellent tackle to keep our clean sheet intact. 5 mins later it was 3, excellent build up play by Alex, Pòl, Luke to find Sean Barry and he whipped in a perfect ball and Cathal with a super header.
They had chances after that but Hugh, Cillian, Sean and Enda ware solid all game and dealt with everything.
A bicycle kick by Luke Keane went just wide and carrig were now enjoying themselves out there. Conor Nolan created a few more chances with some excellent touches and Jacub was excellent after coming on, Matti, Pòl and Alex were in control of the midfield all afternoon and won every ball. We even had time for a 4th, brilliant play form Matti and Jacub found Sean Barry, unstoppable shot from 25 yards 👏. Big shouts today for Enda o Donnell, Sean Guiney and the whole team but our MOTM goes to Sean Barry, Super goal and an assist and his all-round play was brilliant.
