The Under-13s were back in league action sat morning at Lakewood, with the wind causing havoc the lads were camped in the own half for the first 10 mins. 
2 fine saves from Eoin Coughlan keeping Lakewood at bay, chances were difficult for carrig to come by and with Lakewood getting the upper hand they grabbed 3 goals before the break. 

The lads regrouped at halftime and were determined to make amends. 2 quick fire goals from zayd got us back in the game, the first a well taken strike from 25 yards out after great work from Cormac Kenny winning the ball in midfield and the second a quick corner between Sam and Luke with Sam floating a cross to the back post and zayd powering a header beyond the keeper.

Carrig to their credit kept trying for the equalizer in the final moments with Aaron coming close with a long range effort but it wasn't to be, first points dropped all season but everything still to play for
